Every day, the tide washes up across the stones in the harbour and touches the cottage in which I live, with my two little pirates. I’m blessed to call the picture-perfect fishing village of Clovelly, North Devon ~ Home.
I am a lecturer and textile designer who works at our family business Clovelly Silk, with my textile designer Mum, Ann and illustrator Dad, Bill. I studied at Central St. Martins School of Art, specialising in Printed textiles and I am fascinated by fabric manipulation and embellishment. Passionate about recycling and making use of pre-loved materials, I encourage *everyone* to have a go at crafts… My years teaching ‘Art On Prescription’ have proven to me that art truly can be life-changing.
